  • Martha Grekos was invited by The Architecture Club to be part of their panel series discussing aspects of the Government's Planning White Paper which proposes significant changes to the way planning and therefore design will be administered in the future. The panel session focused on the Government's plans to introduce design codes based on community consultation into the planning system. The Panel considered the question 'Do codes prevent design innovation?' The Panel consisted of Martha Grekos along with Robert Adam, Director of Robert Adam Architectural Consultancy, and Richard Coleman, Principal Citydesigner at Design, Townscape and Heritage Consultancy. Over 70 members of The Architecture Club attended and there was a very lively discussion with many questions raised by the audience.
