Martha Grekos has been appointed as Chair of Fleet Street Quarter Public Realm & Environment Steering Group.
The Fleet Street Quarter Partnership has been established to take a leading role in accelerating a vision that will shape this historic location into a thriving quarter. An ambitious development pipeline offers the Partnership an opportunity to harness this growth, creating a new narrative for this iconic location – an area that will foster innovation, champion culture and curate a green and sustainable business district.
The Partnership is working towards becoming a Business Improvement District (BID) over the coming years. The Partnership includes representatives from the local property ownership and occupier sectors and City of London Corporation’s property investment board, which oversees real estate management, acquisitions and disposals by the local authority that governs London’s Square Mile.
While the Fleet Street area will see many of its iconic buildings vacated over the next few years, these are also exciting times for this part of London, given the north/south, east/west Thameslink and Crossrail railway connections just minutes away.
